# FORGE — Scorecards

Opportunity, validation, and offer scorecards with thresholds.

_Part of NIGHT//SHIFT OS. Planning material only — nothing here promises income or results._

## Find · Opportunity score

Score the winning idea before you spend a week validating it.

Score each line 1–5.

| Criterion | Guide | Score |
|---|---|---|
| Pain severity | 5 = people complain about it unprompted and it costs them weekly | |
| Buyers already pay for solutions | 5 = there are paid products, freelancers, or courses for this | |
| Your unfair advantage | 5 = you have done this for others and have proof | |
| Fits a digital product | 5 = a template, guide, or short course fully solves it | |
| You can reach these buyers | 5 = you know exactly where they gather online | |
| Buildable in 30 days | 5 = you could ship an MVP in two weeks | |

Total ≥ 23: **GREEN** — Strong opportunity. Go to System 02 and validate this week.

Total ≥ 17: **YELLOW** — Promising but uneven. Look at your lowest score: if it is 'pays' or 'pain', mine more problems before validating. If it is 'reach' or 'speed', validation may fix it.

Below: **RED** — This idea will fight you. Return to the skill inventory and pick the next circled row. That is progress, not failure.

## Validate · Validation score

Convert your week of evidence into a decision.

Score each line 1–5.

| Criterion | Guide | Score |
|---|---|---|
| Evidence buyers already spend on this | 5 = named paid alternatives with visible customers | |
| Frequency of the problem | 5 = weekly or daily; 1 = once in a lifetime | |
| Consistency of customer language | 5 = the same words appear across sources | |
| Interview results | 5 = all five described the problem unprompted and asked what you are making | |
| Pre-sell response | 5 = multiple people asked to pay; 1 = silence | |

Total ≥ 19: **GREEN** — Demand is real. Build the MVP in System 03 and keep the quotes for your sales page.

Total ≥ 13: **YELLOW** — Some evidence, not enough. The usual cause is a vague product sentence. Rewrite it with the customer language worksheet and re-run interviews and the pre-sell for three more days.

Below: **RED** — The market did not respond. Your time is better spent on the next idea from Find. Keep what you learned about this audience.

## Package · Offer score

Does this offer explain itself in ten seconds? Score before the sales page.

Score each line 1–5.

| Criterion | Guide | Score |
|---|---|---|
| Clarity of the promise | 5 = a stranger can repeat it after one read | |
| Specific deliverables | 5 = every component names an outcome | |
| Price has a reason | 5 = anchored to value and checked against alternatives | |
| Proof available | 5 = demonstrable results you can show honestly | |
| Risk reversal | 5 = clear refund terms and a 'not for you if' line | |
| Honest reason to act now | 5 = a real launch price or bonus deadline; 1 = fake countdown | |

Total ≥ 23: **GREEN** — The offer is ready. Write the sales page with the AI sales page builder.

Total ≥ 17: **YELLOW** — Fix the lowest score first. Clarity and specificity are usually cheap to fix with your customer language research.

Below: **RED** — The offer is not yet an offer. Return to the value stack and positioning worksheet before spending time on a page.
